Prana flow is a energy filled, full-spectrum approach to "embodying the flow of yoga," as taught by Shiva Rea and the Global Vinyasa Collective. This style of yoga encourages students to experience prana, the universal source of life-energy and breath. "Movement, meditation, energetic alignments, chanting, visualizations, chakra work, and pranayama are also often integrated within each class."

“Cosetta, I wanted to tell you how much joy, reflection, and positive energy your classes have brought into my life. I leave every class with you feeling nourished and seeing the world through more caring and compassionate eyes (and feeling more compassionate and caring toward myself). It seems as if every time the reading you select, or the wisdom and life lessons you share, or your humor, is exactly what I needed that day. I am so grateful to be practicing again with you, I just wanted you to know how much it means to me and what an amazing light you are in the world, you are truly a healer.”
~Suzanne H.

"For many years I was aware of the physical benefits of yoga and on several occasions had attended classes at yoga studios. Being an old, stiff ex-athlete, the classes were too difficult for me and I would quit after one or two lessons. I learned from a friend that his instructor Cosetta Romani gave private lessons just a few blocks from my own home. Consequently I began to work with Cosetta about 2-3 years ago. They were no less difficult, but were geared to my level of ability and I received individual attention and above all encouragement from Cosetta. Now I am much more supple, have fewer muscle aches and pains and can work in the garden for hours without becoming stiff. An unexpected benefit which I had not anticipated was learning how to breathe and how to meditate. I realized that I am a shallow mouth-breathing, a personality competitive and up-tight. There has been a slow gradual change, but after working with Cosetta, I feel much more relaxed, content, and tranquil.

Cosetta has taught me that yoga is much more than touching one's toes, it also includes getting in touch with one's inner spirituality, evaluating and improving one's state of mind and outlook on life. I have learned so much more from Cosetta than I had initially anticipated and am a better person for it."
~Terrence H. Gleason, M.D.

"Cosetta Romani is the most complete yoga teacher that I have ever worked with. She is passionate about every student's journey and her beauty shines from within as she patiently turns her students into stronger more aware beings. A true jewel in the Seattle yoga scene."
~James Weimann

"Cosetta's unbridled passion for yoga fills the studio, contagiously enlivening, empowering, challenging, and enlightening her students. With Cosetta as my guide and inspiration on a path toward self-discovery and renewal, I am cultivating a deeper connection and appreciation to myself and to our mother earth. Thank you for helping me to connect with my breath, my inner teacher, and my voice!"
~Betsy Shilling

"When I arrive at Cosetta's classes, she greets me with a smile and warm welcome. Every class is unique and always challenges me physically and spiritually. Wheather we are in a mindful flow or moving freely to tribal music, I always leave the class feeling joyful and rejuvenated."
~Sarah DeFreitas

"I have been a student of Cosetta for several years. She has created a path for me to integrate yoga into all aspects of my life in a supportive, more aware and open manner. My continual work with her, is showing me ways to be true to who I am."
~Duana Kolous'kova'

"Cosetta is a positive force in my life today. She is my yoga teacher, from Italy: tall, dark and beautiful. I came from a health club that had several instructors and many classes per day so when I joined the Denali club, I was disappointed to learn there were only 4 classes per week. I was going to the other instructors class and it was just fine. I decided to try Cosetta's class and it was love at first sight. Cosetta's teaching style is organic. It has a mixture of challenge and healing. After class I feel as if I have had an internal, external and mental massage. Week by week more students get pulled into the positive force of Cosetta's class. I feel so blessed the universe led me to her."

"When I first walked into the Yoga Studio, Magnolia, I was very nervous. I am not in the least bit flexible, and had been away from exercise, and am a practicing Catholic. I didn't know what to expect at all! Cosetta was just completing her training classes with Lee. She made me feel so welcome, like I had come home. She helped me feel comfortable with the various asanas; she knew when to push me forward so that I would feel a great sense of accomplishment. She also knew when to pull back so as not to scare me away. Her classes are always magical. Cosetta's classes are well planned and structured, and yet, she reads the mood and energy of her students. It is like being in a beautiful dance. She is extremely creative in her classes, but never makes you feel like you are at risk of making a fool of yourself. You simply are never bored; she is so fascinating that you stay present for the whole class.

I have also experienced Cosetta as a healer. There are some people who are simply born with a healing touch-but not all people know how to develop that talent. Cosetta is a born healer, and has worked very diligently at perfecting her gift. Many times during the relaxation part of the class, she will tune into people's painful spots. She puts her healing hands on those areas (for me it is usually my hips). She puts all of her energy and prayers into that area to relieve her student's pain. You really feel that she sending all of her positive energy towards you.

As a healer, she is extremely alert to other people's needs and pain. In addition to being a stellar teacher, she is also a giving member of her community. She shares so much of herself. One of her student's husband died suddenly; the woman was beside herself with grief as it reminded her of when she and her husband lost their young daughter. She asked for Cosetta. Cosetta dropped all of her plans and ran to the woman's aid. It was so touching to witness her as a teacher inside and outside the classroom. On a more joyous note, she made me the most beautiful tiramisu cake for my birthday, and adorned it with red candle hearts. It was such a generous and delicious gesture. She also makes sure to attend her student's events. She has come to several of our children's play productions and stays afterwards to praise and encourage the young actors. They just love her even though they don't know who she is!

She is a gift to everyone she meets. She is a fabulous teacher, friend, citizen and artist and I am proud to be her student!"

"I was repulsed by yoga until I met Cosetta and took her class. Her class was my last effort to try and like yoga. In 4 of her classes I felt a strength I didn\'t know I had and am looking forward to becoming stronger mentally and physically with Cosetta as my teacher. As someone who doesn\'t do well with routine, I love that her classes are always different and I never know what to expect. I am always open to what she has to share with us in each class and always leave feeling and looking better than when I came in. I am also a chronic migraine sufferer and since I began taking Cosetta\'s classes I have noticed I have had fewer headaches and for that I am grateful!"

"Yoga with Cosetta is exceptional. I stumbled upon her classes at Denali Fitness a few years ago and was instantly hooked to her compassionate yoga practice. Cosetta challenges your body while also imparting compassion, knowledge, warmth, and hope to her students. She uplifted my spirits every Tues/Thursday and kindled a love of yoga in me that remains today. If you’re in Seattle- try and make it to a class Cosetta teaches. I am still searching for yoga classes of Cosetta’s caliber in my new town."

Ode to Cosetta
Long, intentional gaze sent to greet my whole being
Wisdom beyond this life
She looks in
I bow a thousand times longer and longer still

We meet in the place where I stand
And not a moment before
That is where we begin
As she gently takes my hand without my knowing

Rocking in the waves of energy swelling from within
Swaying in the breeze of content
I grip tightly as my magic carpet flys redefining earthly limits
Just as I tease the idea of surpassing my boundaries

And not a moment before
She gently takes my hand without my knowing
And brings me back to the place where I stand

But this time when I open my eyes
I am alive
I am alive
I am ALIVE
